VescoPlastics is a world leader in manufacturing finished
bushes, bearings and wear components from internally lubricated polymers. We
compound our own long life, low friction polymers, Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube, to make
more cost effective OEM and replacement parts.
• We produce our low wear bearing materials through injection and extrusion moulding. These low maintenance engineering polymers last longer and are readily available in an extensive range of sizes and shapes, ensuring the right material for your applications.
• We can dramatically improve the wear life and greatly reduce the lubrication of your wear parts and plain bearings.
• Our machine shop is dedicated to producing precision parts from close-to-size mouldings and stock shapes. This one-stop service eliminates waste, reduces costs and speeds up deliveries.
• We specialise in producing thick wall mouldings for heavy duty wear applications.
• In dirty or poorly lubricated applications, Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube generally outwear bronze, white metal and hardened steel by many times, often at a lower initial cost.
• With Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube you can avoid the moisture induced swell and poor dimensional stability of nylon, while outlasting acetal.
• We are particularly well set for medium and long production runs.
• We also produce Vesconylon, Vesconylon Hilube,
Vescolene polyethylene and polypropylene. We stock Vescolene Ultrablack, an abrasion
resistant ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. 
Materials and Design
With 25 years of expertise gained from manufacturing advanced
polymer materials for bearing and wear appli- cations, we can advise you on the most cost
effective and lowest maintenance materials. We can also advise your design
department on suitable tolerances and clearances.
Extrusion Moulding
Our large extrusion facility produces continuous lengths of
machinable rod and bushing, stocked in one and three metre lengths. By producing on
site, we can produce your requirements in the quickest turn around time.
Large diameter thick wall bushing is our speciality - in
fact we extrude some of the largest diameter thermoplastic bushing in the world.
Vesconite bushing stock is produced from 40 to over 700 mm (1 1/2" to 28") in
diameter, with wall thicknesses from 5 to 75 mm ( 3/16" to 3"). Vesconite
machinable rod is produced in diameters from 20 to 160 mm ( 3/4" to 6 1/4"), and
up to 200 mm (7 3/4") in poly- propylene and polyethylene. If our production

Injection Moulding
Our heavy duty injection moulding machines and wide tooling
range provide flexibility in producing close-to-size mouldings up to 3 kgs (6.6 lbs), in
medium to large runs.
For precision parts at lowest cost, our injection moulding department combines with our machine shop. Close-to-size moulded parts are machined to engineering tolerances, quickly and economically. This ensures precision parts with design flexibility and minimum wastage.

The VescoPlastics Machine Shop following on the moulding and
extrusion process provides a leading edge in our service to you. Our on-site
machining minimises lag periods. We have NC and automatic machines for short and
long runs of simple and complex parts, manufactured to your drawings and specifications.
We produce a vast range of parts and shapes, including:

(28") diameter, straight and flanged

We offer fast deliveries and unbeatable service made possible by our massive factory stocks and integrated production. Airfreighting of urgent deliveries to many parts of the world is common. Transit times may be as little as 48 hours ex factory by courier.
