Saving Money Get a longer bushing and shaft wear life with Vesconite and save money Vesconite problem solving index Self lubricating Vesconite is ideal for low maintenance bushings as Vesconite gives a long wear life in harsh conditions even when lubrication is not reliable. Often of more importance is the low shaft wear. Shafts are usually more expensive and more difficult to replace than bushes and bearings. Vesconite gives a very low wear to shafts and pins. Money is saved with Vesconite because of the extended life of the bushes and the shafts and the savings resulting from higher reliability and less downtime. Costs are saved as maintenance systems and consumables can be reduced. Less grease also reduces the environmental risk caused by leakage of grease. Vesconite is internally lubricated and does not require external lubrication in order to give a better performance than bronze. Vesconite gives up to 10 times the life of bronze in dirty conditions. Nylon in particular is noted for its high shaft wear rate. Buying a cheaper bushing material often results in much higher costs to shafts and other related equipment and downtime. In dirty applications, experience has shown that Vesconite Hilube running against a suitably hardened shaft, gives an exceptionally long wear life.
