Vesconite bushes in Ultrasonic Cleaning machines
Vesconite bushes
were fitted to an ultrasonic cleaning machine designed to handle 170 000 parts
per day.
The bushes were fitted to the transport cages on the conveyor and are immersed in the cleaning liquid.
The bushes are in contact with the swarf from the cleaning process.
The only lubrication is the cleaning fluid.
Vesconite replaced metal coated bearings that do not perform well in dirty applications because of the thin layer of bearing material before metal to metal wear occurs. Full thickness Vesconite MV bushes give a long life even when immersed in contaminated cleaning solutions such as this.
Vesconite is resistant to a wide range of chemicals.
