Rotor Scoop Bushes
The
Rotor Scoop is widely used for separating the different grinds of ore.
The bushes operate in a dirty, wet environment at
±3 RPM. Previously phosphor bronze bushes were used which had limited wear
life.
Two
large Vesconite bushes, one with outside diameter 177 mm (6.97"), inside diameter 152 mm
(5.98")
and 279 mm (10.98") long and the second with outside diameter 177 mm (6.97") , inside diameter 152
mm (5.98")and 151 mm (5.94") long were fitted instead. This greatly extended the operating life
of the scoops with less maintenance and downtime.
