Oscillating Bearing on Filter Rakearm
The main rakearm on a filter stirs the gold bearing solution at the bottom of the filter. The bush holds the rakearm in place. This is a slow moving application turning at ±0,3 RPM.
Previously white metal was used as a liner. In a test application, two Vesconite bushes, outside diameter 600 mm (23.6") by inside diameter 540 mm (21.3") and 57 mm (2.24") in length were shaped to size and fitted into the housing.
