Jetto Skip Door Hinge and Arm Bushes
Another application where Vesconite is used on
the Jetto skip is that of skip door hinge and door arm bushes.
Phosphor bronze was previously used for these applications. The Vesconite bushes last two to three times longer than bronze, and are able to withstand irregular greasing.
The use of Vesconite results in less downtime and little maintenance with no seizure problems. The advantages of changing from bronze to Vesconite include:
- No seizure problems
- Outlasts bronze
- Lower cost
- Less downtime
- Vesconite withstands no greasing
