18m Monohull Steel Fishing Trawler
A specially designed commercial fishing trawler built to withstand the stormy and rough conditions encountered off the Cape Town coast has the stern tube fitted with water lubricated Vesconite bearings as part of its propulsion design.
This vessel has been designed and developed to be safe, stable, economical and sea kindly whilst fishing - even when the competition has retreated to shelter.
The unique winged keel gives exceptional rolldamping and low amplitude pitching, resulting in a fast and comfortable commercial fishing boat in the roughest seas.
