The MT Irini was in dock in Panama and the upper rudder bush had worn over class limits. Getting a good bearing material into Panama is not an easy job and time was running out.
Vesconite was flown in by air to ensure a quick delivery. The owner was very pleased with the material and the yard pleased with the ease of machining.
