Brake winch guide rollers in cranes
Material: 12 Vesconite rollers, OD 80 mm x 300 mm (3" x 11.8") long.
Previous material: Polyurethane
This customer constructs and erects power lines for a large power utility. The brake winch is mounted on to the back of a truck. This winch is used to release the cable when stringing the lines which run across the guide rollers.
This application operates in dust and rain, and is poorly maintained. No lubrication is used once assembled.
Advantage of Vesconite:
