Ground Drill Bush for Unimog Ground Drill
This
is a slow turning, dry running, dirty application in which the Unimog drill digs
up the ground when roadworks are in progress.
A Vesconite bush 240 mm (9.4") outside diameter by 224 mm (8.8") inside diameter by 100 mm (4") long was installed with most satisfactory results.
Advantages of Vesconite Bushes
- Need no lubrication
- Longer life
- Lower cost
- Easy to machine to required size where shaft or housing have been worn. This saves rebuilding the shafts or repairing the housing.
