Blade Bracket Bushes
Brackets attach power blades to the grader. Vesconite bushes have important advantages in this application. The bushes are not normally lubricated and are exposed to large amounts of dirt and dust.
Two Vesconite bushes 50 mm (2") outside diameter by 38 mm (1.5") inside diameter by 80 mm (3.2") long were installed with satisfactory results.
Advantages of Vesconite Bushes
- Need no lubrication
- Longer life
- Lower cost
- Easy to machine to required size where shaft or housing have been worn. This saves rebuilding the shafts or repairing the housing.
- Less downtime
