South Africans are winners

The South African paralympic team achieved great performances, using sport to overcome adversities.

They won 35 medals – 15 gold, 13 silver and 7 bronze. Two athletes recorded times that came close to the Olympic equivalents: Natalie du Toit  swam the 400 metres freestyle in 4:28.09 seconds and Oscar Pistorius ran the 200 metres sprint in 21.97 seconds.

The paralympians showed how South Africans turn challenges into opportunities with results recognised worldwide.  VescoPlastics salutes them all for their exceptional determination and perserverance.
